Kanpur Lamborghini accident police said businessman KK Mishra’s son Shivam Mishra was behind the wheel and a charge sheet will be filed soon.

On Sunday, at approximately 3:15 PM, a Lamborghini pulled up near Rev-3 Mall in the Gwaltali area. The car rammed an autorickshaw and hit a parked motorcycle, sending its owner flying about 10 feet into the air. (PTI)On Sunday, at least three people were injured when a speeding Lamborghini driven by Shivam rammed into them on Kanpur’s VIP Road. Although no arrests have been made yet, Shivam’s lawyer had earlier claimed that the car was being driven by a hired driver and not Shivam, whose father is a tobacconist.

“Shivam was not driving. His health is fragile. A plea has been filed before the court and all proceedings will follow legal process. The matter will be heard on Tuesday,” Mritunjay Singh, lawyer representing Mishra, said earlier, according to HT.

His family made a different claim that Shivam had one Convulsions while drivingwhich causes accidents. However, the police and eyewitnesses confirmed that the tobacconist’s son was driving the car with cops saying that Shivam was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

On Tuesday, the accused’s father also denied police claims that Shivam was driving the car

An official also told HT that a medical examination will be conducted on the accused to check if epilepsy or any other medical condition could have contributed to the accident.

“If the tests show that he was medically unfit to drive, we will examine how he got the driving licence,” said police commissioner Raghubir Lal, adding that the role of regional transport office staff would also be looked into.

What father saidKK Mishra also said that a hired driver was behind the wheel when Shivam was sick and unconscious, PTI Report He said that both Shivam and the driver were inside the car and the car had technical problems the day before the accident.

“A driver and Shivam were in the car. I don’t know who was driving the car. It will be investigated. There was a problem with the Lamborghini car a day before the accident. The mechanics resolved the technical issue. The next day, Shivam and the driver took the car for testing,” he said.

According to Mishra, Shivam fainted while returning from Civil Lines, which caused an autorickshaw to slow down when it hit him. The locked car window prevented the driver from opening it and their security personnel broke the glass to pull Shivam out.

What the eyewitnesses sawWitnesses said they gathered around the car after the accident and prevented the bouncers from taking Shivam away. The 26-year-old was taken to a hospital.

A new video of the accident shows Mishra being pulled out of the car, corroborating eyewitness accounts of bouncers trying to move Mishra away from the scene. Bouncers are seen taking him away while locals are heard saying in the background, “Keep making videos.” Due to the graphic nature of the video, it has not been shared for publication.
