Buckingham Palace said Monday (Feb. 9, 2026) that King Charles III is “willing to support” police if he contacts police over allegations that his brother, former Prince Andrew, passed sensitive reports to Jeffrey Epstein while he was UK trade ambassador.

“The King has made clear his deep concern about the allegations that have come to light regarding the conduct of Mr (Andrew) Mountbatten-Windsor,” the palace said in a statement, adding that UK police were “undergoing an assessment”. Files on the late American sex offender Epstein.

“If Thames Valley Police contact us to inform Mr Mountbatten-Windsor of the specific claims in question, we will be ready to support them as you would expect.”
