President Donald Trump condemned Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance. (Reuters)”The Super Bowl halftime show was absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, an insult to America’s greatness, and does not represent our standards of success, creativity or excellence,” Trump wrote.
He added, “No one understands what this guy is talking about, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for little kids watching from across the US and around the world. This “show” is a “slap in the face” to our country that is setting new standards and records every day — including the best stock market and 401(k) in history!

Trump also said, “There’s nothing inspiring about halftime shows and this mess of clocks, it’s going to get rave reviews from the fake news media, because they have no clue what’s going on in the real world — and by the way, the NFL should replace its ridiculous new kickoff rules immediately.”
He ended the message with ‘Make America Great Again’.
Bad Bunny Super Bowl RowTrump’s comments came as Bad Bunny drew criticism for displaying foreign flags to convey a message of unity. Laura Lumar, a longtime ally of the president, demanded an apology from the NFL and also threatened to call ICE on anyone over the performance because of the presence of a foreign flag.
He claims there is nothing ‘American’ about the display. Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican singer, has been in the midst of controversy since the NFL announced he would be the halftime performer.
Many people pointed out that Bad Bunny rarely had songs in English and his stance on ICE didn’t help. The singer’s recent comments at the Grammy Awards, where he doubled down on his criticism only served to fuel the furore.
Even before the halftime Super Bowl performance, the Trump administration indicated that the president would not be visiting Bad Bunny at Levy Stadium.
