Turning Point USA (TPUSA) All-American Half-Time Show Canceled? A series of claims surfaced on social media just before the Seattle Seahawks faced off against the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl on Sunday. Well, the doubts are justified, especially since top-performing Kid Rock has been at the center of recent controversy.

Singer Kid Rock speaks during a Senate Commerce Subcommittee hearing on consumer protection, technology and data privacy (Bloomberg)What is the Kid Rock controversy?Kid Rock’s 2026 Rock the Country tour has faced new setbacks as more performers have pulled out and one of its scheduled stops has been scrapped altogether. The latest blow came in South Carolina, where two festival dates planned for July 25 and 26 in Anderson have been canceled.

According to The Post and Courier, Anderson County Administrator Rusty Burns said officials were notified of the cancellation on Feb. 5 but did not provide any details. Organizers later told Fox Carolina that the Anderson shows were canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

The tour’s website no longer lists the South Carolina stop. What was advertised as “8 Huge Shows” is now billed as “7 Huge Shows” and references to performers like Shinedown, once advertised for Anderson dates, have disappeared as well.

Shinedown publicly confirmed its withdrawal, saying on Instagram that its “purpose is to unite, not divide” and added: “We do not want to participate in anything that we believe will create further division.”

Country singer Morgan Wade has already dropped out, his management told Billboard. Rolling Stone reports that Carter Faith has also backed out.

Has the TPUSA halftime show been cancelled?no The show is still on. Misinformation is spread through social media posts. “Kid Rock’s alternate halftime show under Turning Point has been canceled due to artists being dropped due to pedophile lyrics in his song Cool, Daddy Cool. People have spoken out against pedophiles and pedophile references! No tolerance or forgiveness,” one person said on Facebook.

But there is no official announcement. Neither Kid Rock nor TPUSA have yet commented.
