The X account behind the infamous video showing former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle as apes is also mentioned in the Epstein file. President Donald Trump’s Truth Social had a video about Obama that sparked a row with many calling it racist.

(X/@PopBase)The White House initially defended the video, with press secretary Carolyn Levitt saying the entire clip, which also featured other leaders as animals, was not being reported. However, the Trump administration then took a U-turn, blaming a staffer for providing the offending clip. The video has since been removed from the president’s profile.
In line with the clip, it also emerged that the handle Xerias_x, cited as the author of the Obama ape video, was in the Epstein files. The Justice Department on Friday released the final portion of documents related to the late convicted child sex offender, in which this X profile is referenced in various redacted communications.
How is Xerias_x referenced in the Epstein files? The Xerias_x handle is not directly related to Epstein. It was mentioned in connection with a video about current FBI Director Kash Patel.
“Congratulations, your best video ever! You rock!”, read the contact with the redacted name.

The Justice Department has clarified that the mere mention of one’s name in a document is not evidence of wrongdoing. From what can be seen in the Epstein file library, there are no complaints against the X handle.
Also, Bill McCarthy who works for Agence France-Presse’s fact-checking unit, noted that the same account that created the Obama video also posted the clip in which Trump is seen pilot excrement on ‘No Kings’ protesters. This video was also shared by the President.
“Note the fair watermark,” the person commented.
This sparked backlash from many online. “The modern Warhol,” one man commented sarcastically. Another added, “What an absolute charmer of a man.”
Another commented “Yes. And Trump shared both,” while one speculated that the handle might be Donald Trump Jr.’s. However, there is no evidence to support this.
