A fire broke out in a wood workshop on the grounds of a military barracks in the Iranian capital on Friday (February 6, 2026), the army said in a statement.

The army added that the fire was brought under control and no injuries were reported, as an electrical fault was blamed for the fire.

“The fire was brought under control when fire brigades arrived on time,” official media said in a statement.

Earlier this week, a fire broke out in Tehran’s West Bazaar, which firefighters brought under control.

Tuesday (February 3, 2026) The fire did not cause any injuries, rescuers said at the time.
