Annie went on to say that the “light was missing” from their lives.

“Despite already going through great trials of pain and grief, we’re always going to be just people, just normal people who need our moms. Mom, mom, if you’re listening, we need you to come home. We miss you,” Savannah added through tears.

Savannah noted that Nancy is 84, and her heart and overall health are “fragile.” He added that Nancy “lives in constant pain” and expressed concern that she is now without her medication.

Savannah said, “We also heard about the ransom letter in the media. We are doing everything we can as a family.”

Addressing Nancy’s captor directly, Savannah says, “We’re ready to talk. However, we live in a world where voice and images are readily available. We need to know without a doubt that she’s alive and that you have her.”

“We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen. Please contact us,” he added.

Addressing Nancy, Savannah said, “Mom, if you heard this, you are a strong woman. You are a precious daughter of God, Nancy. We believe and know that He is with you in this valley as well. Everyone is looking for you, everywhere.”

“We will not rest. Your children will not rest until we are together again. We talk to you every moment and we pray without ceasing and we look forward to the day we hold you in our arms again,” he added, before ending by saying, “We love you, Mom. Stay strong.”

What we know about ransom notesPima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told CBS News the ransom note contained chilling details about Nancy’s home in Tucson and what she was wearing the night she disappeared. It also included unsubstantiated demands for a “substantial amount” of bitcoins in exchange for Nancy’s safe return, according to Parade.

TMZ reports that the amount claimed is in the millions, and the note claims to send the cryptocurrency to a specific Bitcoin address. The outlet has verified that the address is genuine.

There is also a time limit attached to the alleged ransom, as well as an element of “or else”. The note described an item the sender said was damaged at Nancy’s Tucson-area home.
