Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on Sunday. It has been four days since she was taken from her home in Arizona, according to authorities. The search continues, and investigators stress that time is of the essence because the 84-year-old’s health will deteriorate without his daily medication.

His pacemaker was also reportedly turned off along with his Apple device around 2 p.m. A law enforcement official told Fox News that the implanted medical device lost connection with Apple products belonging to Nancy at the time.
His phone and Apple Watch were also found inside the house. Given Nancy’s age, there are many concerns about her medical condition. “Praying she’s found safe. Day 4 already,” one person wrote on X.

Although these drugs suppress a fast or irregular heartbeat, they can slow the heart too much (rate bradysima). The rhythm can cause dizziness or by maintaining a safe minimum heart rate. Prevents symptoms like fainting.”
“Discontinuing antiarrhythmic drugs can cause the abnormal rhythm or rate to recur, increasing the risk of complications such as dizziness, shortness of breath, fainting, stroke or even death,” the person added.
Nancy Guthrie: What medicine is she taking?Notably, it is not known whether Nancy takes antiarrhythmic drugs. The person who raised the concern and outlined the medical information is not an expert in the field and the information should be taken as such.
However, authorities expressed concern that Nancy could be life-threatening if she went without her medication for more than 24 hours. Calls to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office indicated Nancy had high blood pressure and heart problems, according to PEOPLE.
Authorities are now speaking with people they believe had contact with Guthrie prior to her abduction. However, they are yet to name any suspects or persons of interest in the case.
