Sioni comes into focus because he married Annie Guthrie, Savannah Guthrie’s sister. Banfield, the former News Nation host, also claimed that authorities impounded Annie’s car. According to the reporter, the authorities ‘towed’ the vehicle for allegedly having some ‘connection’ with Sioni. The sheriff’s department has not confirmed this, according to TMZ.
