Missing Nancy Guthrie: What we know about the alleged ransom noteAs the disappearance investigation continues, officials say the ransom note allegedly related to Nancy’s disappearance includes disturbing information about the night she disappeared.

The note, sent to a local news station in Arizona, provided specific information about the 84-year-old mother’s residence in Tucson and the clothing she was wearing Saturday night, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said during an interview with CBS News Tuesday evening.

It remains unclear whether the alleged note sent to CBS affiliate KOLD-TV in Arizona, which has chosen not to release its specific contents, is identical to the note sent to TMZ on Tuesday.

Nanos declined to confirm that the information in the note matched the crime scene, where traces of blood and indications of forced entry were found.

“It’s like any evidence. You give it to us, you give us a lead, we’ll look at every aspect of that lead,” he said.
