The actress said that she felt insecure for the longest time. “When I kept changing schools, there was some insecurity. I used to feel insecure… Till now… before the release of my film Son of Sardaar 2, I felt the same way. I realized that it took me a long time to accept that yes, I am beautiful just the way I am. And I’m just so proud of myself,” she said.“There was so much noise around, everyone was thinking, look perfect, do this body, do that, look this way, manicure, pedicure, pretend, just cross your legs.

I’m just completely imperfect, and I love that,” she added.When asked what made her choose ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’, the actress said that she was convinced after hearing the narrative of the film. “Sir (Udyavar) actually called me and said, ‘Mrunal, I want you to hear something’… It’s very rare that you just say, ‘Sir, let’s start shooting.’ It was time. It was so easy because I had to do it from the heart,” she said.Talking about the film, Thakur said she believes the audience will embrace it. “Through this film, I just want to let the audience know that this film is for you. You will be able to feel the resonance with him. When you’re watching that movie, sitting in that seat, you have to feel like you’re a part of that movie,” she said.The premiere of the film is scheduled for February 20.
