The Simpsons creator Matt Groening appeared in the latest episode of The Epstein Files, sparking backlash among many. The Justice Department on Friday released the latest and final portion of documents related to late convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Matt Groening has previously been mentioned in an affair with Jeffrey Epstein., (X/@LandlordLinks)Many were surprised to see the creator of the long-running and hugely popular series mentioned in the document. One talks about introducing Groening to Muhammad Yunus, the current interim head of Bangladesh.

“A while ago Isabelle and I introduced our very good friend, cartoonist Matt Groening, to Nobel Peace Laureate Mohammad Yunus, and the following Sunday (October 3rd), Yunus became part of the Simpsons legend. Now, that’s an achievement we can be truly proud of as worthwhile and meaningful,” a documents mid-instant!

Reaction to the news of the Matt Groening-Epstein fileOne person at X wrote “The Simpsons creator is in the Epstein files. They weren’t predicting, they were admitting what the people in control were going to do next.”

Another added, “What if, The Simpsons didn’t predict anything, it was just that the people behind it were involved with the global elite and were just laying Easter eggs for events already planned?”

Yet another commented “He’s not predicting bruh, everything is “predictive programming”, Simpsons creator Matt Groening is on the #epsteinfiles list is crazy.” One person reshared it and added The Simpsons scene from Season 1 Episode 6, which reads “Attention: On an island somewhere some crazy creep is secretly running the world.” The person who shared it said “Matt Groening describes Epstein Island in an episode of The Simpsons.”

Notably, The Simpsons has cemented its place in pop culture for being able to predict future events in its episodes, such as Trump’s presidency. Given the creator’s apparent friendship with Epstein, many have tried to weave a conspiracy theory about The Simpsons dropping its ‘easter egg’ about what’s about to happen.
