After presenting the Bihar state budget, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday called it ‘inclusive and growth oriented’, adding that it is based on development with justice.

CM Nitish Kumar said that the industries will witness promotion after the budget presentation and it will fulfill the goals of providing opportunity to every family, skill development of every youth and empowerment of women. (ANI)The chief minister took to social media platform X to express his views on the value of the state budget ₹3.47 lakh crore, which was presented by Vijendra Prasad Yadav who mentioned Bihar Progress was being made at a brisk pace and the estimated growth rate for the current financial year was an astounding 14.9 percent.

“The budget for the financial year 2026-27, presented on Tuesday, is committed to fulfilling the vision of a developed Bihar. Based on the principle of development with equity, the budget takes care of all sectors and all sections of the society, including farmerEntrepreneurship, Youth and Women. It is a comprehensive, inclusive and growth-oriented budget,” Kumar wrote in X.

“The budget has been prepared keeping in mind the interests of the 14 crore people of Bihar. It reflects the steadfast and sincere commitment of the NDA government towards social justice, economic progress and inclusive development,” he said.State BJP president Sanjay Saraogi said this budget will take forward the development of the state and strengthen basic infrastructure besides focusing on every section of society including students, farmers, entrepreneurs, youth and women.
