A 5.9-magnitude earthquake hit Myanmar on Tuesday, with strong tremors felt in parts of Kolkata and Bangladesh.

The German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said the quake was at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.21 miles).
According to EMSC, this is the third earthquake felt in Myanmar in the last 71 hours. No damage has been reported so far.
