Nancy Guthrie Case: Blood was found inside the residence of Savannah Guthrie’s missing mother, according to a new report Tuesday. The local sheriff has expressed concern over the possible “kidnapping or abduction” of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old missing mother of the TODAY co-host.

The identity of the blood is yet to be ascertained.
Nancy Guthrie was reported missing Sunday hours after returning from dinner last night. “At this point, investigators believe she was possibly taken from the home against her will [in the] at midnight,” Kevin Edgar, spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, told the Los Angeles newspaper.
“Detectives are looking into a possible abduction or abduction.”

Investigators said Nancy left her car and cellphone at the scene and are hopeful that phone data can help determine the timeline of her abduction, according to ABC News.
The search for Nancy is a time-sensitive endeavor, as the missing mother requires medication that could be life-threatening if she is without it for 24 hours, officials said.
