“A summons has been sent to Mr. Elon Musk and Ms. Linda Iaccarino for a voluntary interview on April 20, 2026 in Paris,” the Paris prosecutor’s office said.

French authorities have summoned Elon Musk to appear before them to answer questions related to an investigation into his social media platform X, the Paris prosecutor’s office said on Tuesday.

Iaccarino stepped down as chief executive officer (CEO) of X in July last year after several years with the company.
