Peter Rahal, CEO of David Protein, announced that Dr. Peter Atia has resigned as Chief Science Officer at the company. It comes after reports that Atiya, an influential longevity expert, was named more than 1,700 times in a trove of 3 million emails released by the US Department of Justice on Friday as part of the Epstein file.

On Friday, the Department of Justice released the largest batch of Jeffrey Epstein files ever, including more than three million pages of documents and thousands of videos and photos.

“I recognize that my actions and words have consequences for those I care deeply about, all of you. I am sorry that this has been inflicted on you, and I take responsibility for it,” Attia added.
