Newly released documents linked to late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein include email exchanges and scheduling notes that refer to LinkedIn co-founder and venture capitalist Reid Hoffman, according to a New York Post report. The material is part of a broader release by the US Department of Justice, which continues to review millions of Epstein-related records.

However, they name him among several high-profile figures mentioned in Epstein’s correspondence, travel plans and internal communications.

Visits and Locations: What Emails ShowAccording to the New York Post, the documents include emails and explicit scheduling memos detailing Hoffman’s planned stays at several Epstein-owned properties, including a Manhattan townhouse, a ranch in New Mexico and the private Caribbean island of Little St. James.

An email cited in the report said “Reed will spend the night at 71st,” referring to Epstein’s Upper East Side residence in New York City.

Another schedule memo, dated 2014, listed dinners and social engagements and noted that Hoffman and Japanese venture capitalist Joey Ito would visit Epstein’s ranch for the weekend, though no specific dates were included.

According to the Post, the files also contain detailed travel information, including flight arrangements that show Hoffman was expected to travel from San Francisco to Florida before heading to Epstein Island.

Includes records of personal correspondenceThe documents include informal email exchanges between Epstein and his assistant, Saida Sapiva, which refer to Hoffman’s faulty passport. In one message, Epstein wrote that he had found Hoffman’s passport in a gift bag.

In a follow-up email sent directly to Hoffman, Epstein wrote, “Larry and I and your passport,” to which Hoffman replied, “Great!”

The New York Post noted that the reference to “Larry” appeared to be a reference to former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, although the document did not explain the context of the exchange.

Other prominent personalities appear in the emailsHoffman’s name also appeared in a 2014 email exchange between Epstein and SpaceX founder Elon Musk. In that message, Epstein asked Musk if he planned to spend Christmas in St. Barts, noting that he had recently spoken with Hoffman. Musk replied that he was unsure of his plans.

Additional emails from 2012 show Musk discussing interest in social gatherings during the holiday season, the Post reported.

The Justice Department said the newly released documents represent less than one percent of the millions of Epstein-related records still under review.
