The latest part of the Epstein files, released Friday, shows an email exchange between Boris Nikolic, a former adviser to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In her 2012 emails to Jeffrey Epstein, Nikolic repeatedly expressed her distaste for India — specifically for the city of Pune.

The emails were apparently exchanged when Nikolic was traveling in India in 2012. Nikolic, who The New York Times once described as a member of Bill Gates’ inner circle, called Pune “dirty” and said he refused to leave his hotel for two days.

“Not my favorite place. You’ll hate it,” Nikolic told Epstein in Pune in his email dated June 1, 2012. “Middle of Somewhere – Pune India.”

The former Gates adviser then told Epstein that he would be traveling for the next 20 hours, arriving in New York, and that his visit to India and China was “very busy” as he apologized for his silence.

“It’s so dirty in here”In another email sent hours after the first, Nikolic described Pune as very “dirty”.

“Can’t wait to catch up. It’s so dirty in here!! Refusing to leave my hotel for the past 2 days,” he said, adding a winking emoji.

Epstein responded with one word — “powerful,” he wrote.

Nikolic then expressed frustration that his flight had been delayed and reiterated his dislike of India in no uncertain terms.

“I am so upset. These idiots have delayed the flight from Pune and I am now stuck in New Delhi. Can’t come and meet you. I hate this place. Even thinking that I have to spend an extra night here now” he said.
