Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 9: Sunny Deol’s Border 2 has maintained its box office success since its initial release. The patriotic war drama continues to do well at the box office after its second week of theatrical distribution. The film reached double-digit revenue on the eighth day and experts are predicting an increase in its ninth day earnings as it coincides with the second Saturday of the week. According to trade tracking website Sacnilk, the film has collected ₹3.73 crore by 2 PM on its second Saturday. This has taken its total collection to ₹238.73 crore. The number keeps increasing throughout the day.

The box office results of Border 2 showed a strong performance as it collected ₹30 crore on its opening day. The film collected ₹36.5 crore on its second day and ₹54.5 crore on its third day. Sunny Deol’s film continued its successful run with a collection of ₹59 crore on Day 4.
After this point the collection experienced a typical weekday decline. After collecting ₹13 crore on day 6 and ₹11.25 crore on day 7, the film collected ₹20 crore on day 5. Border 2 grossed ₹224.25 crore in its first week.
The war drama earned ₹10.75 crore with an additional 8 days after its second week of performance, improving its box office results.
About Border 2
T-Series and JP Films are backing the 1997 hit Border 2 of the same name. Border 2 stars Ahaan Shetty, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film hit the theaters on January 23. It also stars Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, Pranav Vasisht and Medha Rana in lead roles.
Border 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Dutta and Nithi Dutta. While the 1997 film is based on the events of the Battle of Longewala during the 1971 India-Pakistan War, the same battle is the backdrop for Border 2.
